Julie A. Heimsoth, age 48 of Raymore, Missouri formerly of Higginsville, Missouri died on Friday, April 18, 2014, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Born Friday, July 9, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of Glenn A. Nowack and Shirley M. (Winkelheke) Nowack. She was united in marriage to Paul W. Heimsoth on December 30, 1983. Julie worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for several nursing homes in the Lafayette County area retiring in 2003. She lived most of her life in the Higginsville and Corder, Missouri area before moving to Raymore in 2013. She was a 1983 graduate of Lafayette Co. C-1 High School and a member of Salem United Church of Christ. Surviving are her parents, Glenn & Shirley Nowack of Higginsville; her husband, Paul W. Heimsoth of the home in Raymore; one daughter, Hanni (Jason) Herriott of Raymore; two brothers, Steve (Michele) Nowack of Lafayette, Colorado and Daniel Nowack of Kansas City, Missouri; and one sister, Jana Nowack of Blue Springs, Missouri; nieces Kim Heimsoth, Jennifer Heimsoth; nephews, Aaron Heimsoth, Reed Heimsoth, Kyle Stoddard, Carter Lange, Chris and Jeff Arbogast. A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Salem United Church of Christ, 1500 N. Main St. Higginsville with Rev. Dr. Tommy L. Faris officiating and Doris Jane Stoner as organist. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Higginsville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Hoefer Funeral Home, 1600 Main St., Higginsville. Memorial contributions may be sent to Salem Cemetery Fund or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Pallbearers are Mark Nowack, Steve Bell, Chris Burns, Darrell Fiegenbaum, David Noltensmeyer, Chris Arbogast, Kenneth Heimsoth and Scott Heimsoth.
