Your one and a million and we share so many amazing memories full of laughter - I met you the day I was born, my older cousin and a great one you were! Memories of you live on forever! You were taken from us WAY too early and I am so so very sad for that - not sure why great people are taken from us so young, we will never really know! My wonderful, beautiful, sweet, and caring cousin, Julie Etta! I loved her so very much. She babysat me when I was young, and sang in my wedding 11 yrs ago. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life for as long as I did... I only wish I could have her longer. SO many amazing memories of her will last a lifetime. I will miss you terribly, Julie. Dear Ben, Bobby (Darci), Salome, Enid, Chuck and Louis,

I am so saddened by your lose. I knew Julie since the boys were in preschool with Gabe and Deborah. Julie was so talented, creative and was never afraid to try new things. Julie was a wonderful (single) mother to her children. We were so excited to be related by marriage. When Gabe (my son) and Gabriela (her niece) got engaged it was a very exciting time for us. When Gabe and Gabi had children, I would call her Auntie Julie and she would refer to me as Grannie Annie. Julie and I laughed together and always had a mutual admoration for our families. I want you to know that I am here if there is anything you need.

What a treasure your Mother was. She became one of our bleacher buddies in the parent section and we sat near each other at most games.
I had not spoken with her for several years as the last time we'd communicated was via email.
Bonnie and I send our deepest sympathy. We will always cherish the time we spent with Julie. Especailly an absolutely hysterical Apple Cup camping excursion that brings a smile to us.
As I've read the other people's words, it is reaffirming as to how she lived. Everyone saw that same love of life and devotion to her children.

I have read articles related to Ben as a football player. Based on this alone, I know what a great mom you all had. I wish you all peace and healing during this difficult time. Be comforted in that your mom was an amazing woman and will always look down proud upon you.

I had not seen Julie in many years and I am so sorry to hear of her premature death. In the late 60's she and Chuck were 2 of my Ski Acres friends. My condolences to her family.

What a great loss. I grew up with Julie and know what a talented person she was. She will be missed but her life lives on in her children which she adored.

To the Family;

I am a blackjack dealer @ Silver Dollar in Renton. I never did get to know Julie as she was a poker dealer @ our place for just a short while. I wanted to extend my deepest condollences to you in your time of loss. There are several people here at The Dollar who knew her and just became aware today that she was taken.
I do remember her wearing her reading glasses ontop of her head and conversating friendly with the local poker players. Wish I had known more of her as she seemed like such a free spirit. On behalf of the entire Silver Dollar Renton crew our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Julie and her son Ben some years back, at their relative Albert Miller's memorial gathering and have a very warm memory of our conversation. She was a woman of many talents, with a big heart. It was the one and only time we connected, and I have more reason now to cherish the pleasant feelings she left with me that evening.
My deepest sympathy goes to Julie's children, her circle of friends and extended family.

We just wanted to convey our deepest sympathy to all of you, on the sudden loss of your darling mother. It's always so much more difficult when it happens so quickly and unexpectedly.

I was at the service this morning with Allison and Matthew, and what a lovely service it was! There were so many wonderful people there who obviously love and support you, and it was really moving sharing the personal moments with you.

We wish you all long life, and Ben, if there is anything at all that we can help with, you know you can count on us. I mean this very sincerely. As we live in Issaquah, there might be things I can do for you locally. Do not hesitate to call.

To the family of Julie: I heard the news from my son Nick yesterday by email as I am in Mexico at this time. If not....I would be there today to offer my support and to celebrate Julie's incredible spirit! Although I have not seen her in sometime...Julie remains a larger than life creative and joyful person that touched my life when we were both single moms on Mercer Island. I feel lucky to have known her and my heart goes out to all of you who will miss her daily. Julie was one of my dearest and oldest childhood friends and I am so profoundly devastated to have learned that she is no longer with us. She recently visited me and my son after the loss of my son-in-law and I now, more than before, treasure that last visit we shared. We had dinner, laughed and talked into the wee hours and had a very special evening remembering back through the years. Julie was a very special, selfless, loving soul! She had the most wonderful dry sense of humor and a voice like a songbird. What a blessing to have had her in my life.
