I first knew Julie as a young girl when I came to Foard in 1988. I was later blessed to coach her in basketball and she was a very tough player. Her last play as a high school basketball player was taking a charge and getting a concussion in the Sectional Finals. It was fitting to find out that she was giving of herself in her last job as well, working with senior adults. Coach Norris, Kim, Jeff, Jamie, Chloe and the rest of the family are in our prayers. Thank you for sharing her with us for awhile.

So very sorry for Coach, Kim, David, all of of the family in the loss of such a wonderful woman. My first memory of Julie was when I entered as a freshman at Fred T Foard, she was so very kind to me. She had a great passion for helping others, may her memory serve on in this world for the great work she completed.

I remember Julie from Middle and High School. She was beautiful inside and out. I also remember running into her at Myrtle Beach and hanging out while we were there. I have nothing but amazing memories of her! I pray that God be with her family and give them strength and comfort during this time.

I had the pleasure of working with Julie at the Rocky Mount Senior Center. I started as an intern and then became an employee after I graduated. She was always so helpful, fun, and welcoming to me and every single one of the seniors. They absolutely loved her and she absolutely loved them! She always put them first! She always listened to their wants and needs and made them the center of "the senior center". I missed her a lot when she left and saw her recently at the gym! She loved her daughter, fiance(at the time), and koozie! Those were the most important to her! She was one of the best! Rest peacefully Julie
