Grandma (June Conrad) was the warmest, generous, most loving person. I remember walking in the two front doors and always smelling the most amazing food being prepared. She welcomed everyone with a kiss on the cheek, a hug, and a wide bright smile that filled your soul with love after traveling for many hours in the car. Her generosity, second to none. What was the Conrad's, was yours. She never let us not get enough to eat. Boy did she feed well, but she knew how to love well most of all. With a giving spirit, she teaches me and all of us to be generous. To serve others before ourselves. She didn't get to hear us on the drive home as we talked about how wonderful she made us feel, but she kept loving, kept giving what was hers and not ours. To all who have someone like this in your life, cherish them, and tell them to their face what you say about them to others. Grandma June, you left an impression on my heart, thank you. Thank you for raising a wonderful family and giving me a mom like you. Love, Andrew Horsman.

I would like to express sincere gratitude for the many kindnesses displayed to the Conrad family in the passing of our sweet mother. We appreciate all the food, visits, calls, beautiful flowers, gifts, and especially prayers. Mom was loved by all and will always hold a special place in my heart. She loved her family and church very much! To put it in a few words... mom lived simply, cared deeply, spoke kindly, loved generously, and lived a Godly life.
She will forever be with us in our hearts and mind. Shirley(Conrad)Smith

I would like to express our family's appreciation to so many wonderful friends, family, and church members of our parents June and Willis Conrad. So many kind words, food, love, flowers, and gifts were extended during this time. Thank you.
Mom and dad have been our lighthouse that has pointed us to our living Lord, Jesus Christ. One of the lights is no longer with us here, but now is in Heaven. Her life spoke volumes and will continue to speak in the lives of our children, who she loved so very much. Her God, dad her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her soul's wellpring of joy. She taught us we could do anything as my sister Shirley said, and that we could do all things through Christ. Her unlimited love, devotion, encouragement, faith, and confidence in her God will live on in all of our lives. Kay {Conrad} Horsman

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my babysitter. I have so many memories of June over the many years that she watched me from the age of 6 months until I was around 12 years old. She was the sweetest person I have ever known and I always looked forward to her coming to the house to sit for me. She would sit in the floor and play games and read stories to me. I loved her potato soup and cream of wheat and she would always make them for me when she stayed at the house. June was a wonderful person and will be missed by us all. I will never forget her and will pray for her family during this time of grieving.
