Crorkin, June Marie (Geier) Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was on an annual outing with her dear friends when she passed away, October 23, two days shy of her 84th birthday. She is survived by her devoted children: daug- hters, Marilyn (Dick) Bandholz, Carol (Paul) Scanlon, Peggy (Greg) Running; sons, Thomas (Joey) and Patrick (Winnie); grandchildren, Paul, Matt (Missy) and Kelly Scanlon; Amy (Kyle) Holt and Jeffrey (Julie) Running; Ally and Andrew Gillam Crorkin; great- grandchildren, Blake Frederick Scanlon and Ella Marie Holt. June was looking forward to the upcoming births of two more great-grand- children. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Lorraine Arden and Carol Heuser; sister-in-law, Bernice Geier and her many nieces and nephews in Chicago. June was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, dance partner and love of her life, Fred, in July of this year. June and Fred met at Humboldt Park while growing up in Chicago, fell in love and were married in 1950. After relocating to Minnesota in 1958, they eventually settled in Richfield, MN where they raised their five children. June was also preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Pearl Geier; her big brother, Jack Geier; nephew, Bill Geier and brothers-in-law, Don Arden and Rich Heuser. June and Fred were inseparable. They were constant figures and #1 fans at all of their children's and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. They enjoyed movies, dancing, casinos, and winter trips to La Jolla, CA, but most of all, their time spent with family and friends. June and Fred were also avid sports fans and sparks flew whenever June's Vikings clashed with Fred's Packers. June's sense of humor, friendliness, compassion and devotion to her family will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but we take comfort in knowing that Fred is now happily reunited once again with his "June Bug". Visitation Monday 3-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S., Bloomington. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10:30 AM at The Church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Ave S. with visitation one hour before the mass.
