I loved her as a mom and she was one of the first who inspired me with all things 'space'! I loved everything about her, especially her kind, gentle way.

I met June Lockhart in 1987 at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. When she walked by, I said "Maureen Robinson"! She said "YES!" I asked her what it was like to work with Guy Williams, She said "He was a gem,a really nice person. He is living in Argentina." I said "yes, I know. Thank you." Two years later we met at Guy Williams memorial. She was very nice to me. I loved her in Lassie and Lost in Space. God bless her as she was blessed to have lived to 100. Rest in peace.

To Anne & Lizabeth and their families. Thank You for sharing your mom with us.
I loved watching June in Lassie, Lost in Space, and Petticoat Junction. She was a remarkable intelligent woman and actress. Listening to her talk about her love of theater, the interaction with other actors/actresses and the audience was fascinating. We're truly blessed that she chose to share herself with the world.
My favorite is when she played Mrs. Claus in the 1984 movie "The Night They Saved Christmas".

Beautiful woman who possessed ideal qualities above the average person. I admired her performance in lost in space as Dr. Maureen Robinson. May she rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. Peace and respect for her family.

So sorry to here about my favorite mom on Lassie. June had a sweet, calm, and very wise presence about her. She was great on Lost in Space and other shows, as well.
I had heard she kept a long-standing friendship with Billy Mummy. She simply put that sort of 'vibe' out__a very approachable and likeability persona.
She will be missed.
Love, Light, and Healing Blessings to All mourning this Beautiful Lady.

You achieved so many incredible milestones and rare notables! Simply making it to the age of 100 is an accomplishment few us will have the opportunity to boast.
Thank you, ma'am for the many, many years of setting a supreme example of decent parenthood for us younger kids to admire. I'm sure your own mom and dad were proud of you, too!
See you in heaven someday!
Until then, rip.

Many people will also remember the loving way she communicated with others. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.

Always watched Lassie as an 8 year old boy, marveled watching you as the center of the families heart and care... Didn't know that was why then, came when I started seriously dating and thinking of marriage... I continiously reflected on the shows of the mother of Timmy on Lassie... Odd, maybe, but the characteristics of that part you played so well impacted life for the last 51 years of marriage by knowing how I wanted to love a woman who was the HEARTS CENTER OF THE FAMILY... Thank you for your excellent performance of the mother, the mother I found as my wife all these years... She is the center of my life then, now, and forever...

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Ms. June Lockhart. During the years that "Lassie", "Lost in Space", and "Petticoat Junction", was televised Ms. Lockhart was known as one of the world's most graceful and compassionate T.V. moms who gave you the impression that she could solve all your childhood problems and make all the bad things go away. She was a mother, a grandmother, and a good friend to all who knew her personally and professionally. There's no doubt that she will be missed.
To the Lockhart Family: Please remember that "Sorrow" is too small a word for what you are going through. And there's not a word deep enough or wide enough to ease your pain. Even in times when there are no words there's hope and comfort knowing so many people are thinking of you and holding you close to their hearts.
Sincerely,
Chris

To those of us growing up in the late 1950s and 1960s, June Lockhart was a wonderful example of a loving, caring, and understanding mother. I actually listened to the 'lessons' she taught to 'Timmy'. I loved that Lassie was a member of the family - to be loved and respected. I'm sure my life was, to some degree, shaped by the Martin family morals. I'm grateful for June Lockhart, Jon Provost, Hugh Reilly, all the actors, and all the writers, producers, directors, and entire crew that produced this show. May June Rest in Peace. She will never be forgotten.

We met June in the summer of 1995 during her brief visit to mid-coast Maine. A very gracious lady. We related to her that the previous year, while living in London, we visited the Imperial War Museum. On display, as part of its World War II commemoration, was a large book containing the signatures of many of the Hollywood stars of the day. Most prominent of all was the signature of her father Gene Lockhart. She was delighted!
Rest in Peace.

My favorite things she was on were the Drew Carey Show and Roseanne when she sort of parodied herself and the mothers she had played on Lassie and Lost In Space. She seemed to really enjoy herself. In looking up her career on IMDB I was surprised to see she stayed busy as an actress up to 2021. What a career. She was an excellent role model in so many fields!
