We met June in the summer of 1995 during her brief visit to mid-coast Maine. A very gracious lady. We related to her that the previous year, while living in London, we visited the Imperial War Museum. On display, as part of its World War II commemoration, was a large book containing the signatures of many of the Hollywood stars of the day. Most prominent of all was the signature of her father Gene Lockhart. She was delighted!
Rest in Peace.

To be blessed with just over 100 years of life is extraordinary special. I hope she had a cared and loved life to the end. I truly loved her acting and remember both lassie and lost in space

My favorite things she was on were the Drew Carey Show and Roseanne when she sort of parodied herself and the mothers she had played on Lassie and Lost In Space. She seemed to really enjoy herself. In looking up her career on IMDB I was surprised to see she stayed busy as an actress up to 2021. What a career. She was an excellent role model in so many fields!

My sincere condolences to June Lockhart's daughters and family. I had the hone and privilege of meeting June more than 10 years ago and she was polite, personable and graceful. A warm and caring woman who entertained fpr decades in shows like "Lassie" and "Lost in Space". Just to have an opportunity to meet her and be in her company was a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Truly, "America's Mother," we will miss you very much. A great lady who upheld the traditions of the USA, always presented in a moral, kind, caring, patient, and understanding format that was true to her real life personality. Rest in Peace and Godspeed, dear lady!
