June Evelyn Marie Mc Crum, 77, of South Bend, passed away peacefully at 8:50 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022 in her home.

She was born January 4, 1945, in Lurton, Arkansas, to William David Collins and Gladys Arbell (Burnette) Berry.

June was a cook at Honkers Restaurant, Mishawaka, IN, for twenty years. She loved her children dearly and enjoyed spending her time with family.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy (Chris) Vanlue of South Bend; four sons, Don (Rina) Young, Jr. of South Bend, Carl (Michelle) Young of Arkansas, Bill (Kelly) Mc Crum of La Porte, and Dallas (Debi) Mc Crum of South Bend; five sisters; four brothers; twenty-three grandchildren; and thirty-three great grandchildren.

Preceding in death were her parents; first husband, Donald Young, Sr.; two daughters, Sherry Young and Jamie Lawson; three brothers, James, Bill, and John; and two sisters, Brenda Collins and Judy.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 5 p.m. CST, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. CST until time of service at the funeral home.
