TO THE MCTAGGART FAMILY;

What a priveledge it was to work with June. I knew her from the Perley Hospital and consequently, Perley Rideau Health Centre. In nursing, you meet a lot of colleagues and role models, however, June was all that and above this; an absolute angel and true christian to staff and patients alike. I was always amazed at her ability communicate on a deep level with a patient, through her kindness, honesty, and integrity. Many a patient had said to me that their recovery was indeed enhanced by her gentle , professional care.
May you rest in peace, June.

Jackie and family,
I am so sad to hear of June's passing. She was a beautiful and caring woman. I had the pleasure of working with her at the PRVHC some time ago. She has made a place in my heart. She was very kind to everyone!! I can still see her smile. She spoke of her family and grandkids often. I know this is a difficult time and my thoughts are with you all. Melanie McCully - RPN

From a fellow nurse at Community Nursing Registry of Ottawa. We miss June and her unique combination of dignity, so effective caregiving and compassion. She was a joy to work with, an inspiration to all, and showed courage and determination in facing the physical and other challenges of her illness. I hope all her family, who she spoke of with so much love, will be able to gradually endure her passing, and allow the wonderful memories of her to fill the space she leaves.
From one whose own loss is still fresh, my sympathy and wishes for you all.

June will be forever in my heart and the hearts of those she worked with at the Perley and Rideau Vets. What a remarkable woman! So sorry she had to leave so early but I know she will be forever with you all, watching over you and guiding you in all you do. She treasured her family most of all.

Alan, Jackie, Greg & Family:

My most heart felt condolences to you all on the passing of your beloved Mom. Seeing her picture brings back so many fond memories for me such as the times spent together at the cottage on Canal Lake and many good times when you all were visiting from Newfoundland. My memories of your Mom were of a caring and compassionate woman who put her Family first and who will always bring a smile to my face when I think of her. I will always remember my Aunt June.

Love Always!
