Mrs Van Cleave was one of my all time favorite teachers. She was always so kind to me at Edgemere Elementary school when I was in her 4th grade class. I remember how she would talk to me like an adult. She would get me to open up about things that were happening in my life. I still remember the day I saw her when I was in high school. She remembered so much about my life. She always showed kindness and demonstrated how much she cared for her students. She has popped into my thoughts many many times over the years. I am 56 years old and still remember how great my 4th grade was because of Mrs Van Cleave.

Mrs Van Cleeve was a favorite teacher of mine at Edgemere Elementary in El Paso, TX, She made every day an adventure and I learned way more than what was in the textbooks. I am 50 years old and there is not a that does go by that I don't thing about some impact she had on me. I can honestly say she was was one of the biggest impact o my life. It wasn't all wine and roses but we earned each others respect throughout the year, i'd give anything to give her a big hug and hearty thank you.

Dear Van Cleave family......my sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mother. Coming to your house on Daugherty Rd. and bantering back and forth with your Mom was always a fun time for me. I loved when she called me "Wutsu Buff". Mike sent me a picture of him, Mr. VC, Marcia, and Marilyn. She left behind a pretty good looking bunch. Prayers to your family.

I only met your mother once, but that was enough to know what a vivacious person she had been. It was a pleasure to meet her daughters at Baptist Memorials where we sang that day. God bless you and ease your hearts. Trudy Darling, pianist

Was very sorry to learn of the loss for the Van Cleave family. My friendship with June began years ago at Shannon Hospital, when we both realized that we shared something unique. Bellerose, N.Y. was hometown for both of us. It was always a pleasure to see June when travelling the halls at Shannon Hospital. June's wit and warm smile will surely be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this. I was very blessed to have known her even if just for a short time. I loved it when she did her various NY accents! She was so full of life! I would never guess her to be 86! I am just so sorry that she has left us, but she is HOME at last! Know that I would be there, but we have moved to Virginia.

So sorry for your loss. I worked at AEC as an aide. It was a pleasure to know June. No matter how many times she told me, the story (in her Spanish Slang voice ??) about the "little mexican boy", it always made me smile!!!! Blessed to know her.. RIP June

June, I will always remember you telling cute stories about your days as a school teacher. I know you were one of the best. I'll always remember the good times Eddie and I had with you and Bruce. I'll never forget you! Dymp Gray
