John Wesley Snyder, 61, of Gardnerville, Nevada went home to the Lord in the loving arms of Patti, Wes and Michelle and Danielle Tuesday October 19, 2010. Born: John was born November 17, 1948 in Hampton, New Jersey to Luther and Dolly Snyder. Personal: John moved to Gardnerville, NV in 1993 coming from Sylmar, CA. John was a Loving Husband, Father and Brother John was a painting contractor which he loved. He also was a lover of Baseball and life and a dear friend to many. John would have celebrated his 22nd year of sobriety on October 20, 2010, of which he was very proud. Survivors: John is survived by his wife, Patti of Gardnerville; son, Wesley and his wife Danielle of St. Louis; sister, Michelle Janssen and her husband Tim of Bangor, PA; niece, Kesley Poyer and her husband Rob and their son Kevin of Flowermound, TX; nephew, Craig Hahn and his wife Lani of Hellertown, PA; niece, Tara Zeoli and her son Anthony of Sloatsville, NY; and stepmother, Barb of Bangor, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Nicole Michelle and infant sisters, Mary Lou and Judith Ann. Services: A Rosary will be said Friday October 22, 2010 at 7 p.m. at St. Galls Catholic Church in Gardnerville. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday October 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Galls with interment to follow at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden, NV.
