Eastman, GA- MR. JUSTIN JAMES BRACEWELL, age 96, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, December 9, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Jerry Peele officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.
Mr. Bracewell was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Max O'Neal Sunday School Class, was active in mission trips and an ordained deacon. He was a retired textile supervisor for the Eastman Cotton Mill, son of the late Eudell Branam Bracewell & James Eckles Bracewell and was preceded in death by a Wife and the mother of his children - Hylah Walker Bracewell, Sister - Bertie Bracewell Davis and Brother - Walter Bracewell.
Survivors: Wife - Mary Jean Martin Bracewell of Eastman; 3 Sons - Ronald Bracewell (Betty) of Cochran, Robert Bracewell (Betty) of Atlanta and Leslie Bracewell (Ann) of Eastman; 6 Grandchildren - Ronald Bracewell, Jr. (Susan), Pam Pilcher (Reggie), Ellen Jones (Danny), Craig Bracewell (Beth), Bob Bracewell (Caroline) and Ted Bracewell; 7 Great-Grandchildren - Taylor, Andy, Jake, Morgan, Mallory, Jenna and Hailey; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family may be contacted at the Mr. & Mrs. Leslie Bracewell residence, 2509 Orphans Cemetery Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in First Baptist Church from 1:30PM-2:45PM Sunday, December 9.
