It is almost one year since Justin passed away. We think about him all the time and still feel the sadness among all of us. We missed him.

I really looked up to this man as he inspired me to be as creative as him to play FIFA 12 and Ultimate team; that was an important feature he helped to design.

One word describe this man hero his skill with computers was among many skill he showed through out life when he was working for ea through 6 year. Rip hero truly missed

Judy & Suyin, I just heard today from Sheila Sceviour of the tragic loss to your family. Though I didn't teach Justin, I always heard wonderful things about him. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

Justin continues to be on my mind. I sat beside him for a time at EA and we continued our friendship after I left the company earlier this year. He once told me that my son reminds him of himself when he was young. If I could talk to him now, I would tell him that if my son grows up to be like him, I would be a proud mother. Justin will continue to live on in our hearts.

I have known Justin since we were young kids in Newfoundland. Even as a child, Justin was always a delightful, good-natured, funny, thoughtful person, with that twinkle in his eyes and big smile. I have very fond memories of when I visited him at his house in Clarenville in the summer; he was the best host who always made me feel very welcome, and was so much fun to be around. We had ping pong matches in his basement, which he was very good at. I also had my first golf lesson with him and was impressed with his natural swing and talent for hitting the balls long distances.

When Justin first moved to Vancouver, it did not take him long to develop a large network of friends, as people are drawn to him by his great qualities. He is genuinely kind, and always sees the joy and humour in everything. Justin is a truly remarkable friend who will be extremely missed.

I am so sad to hear the news of Justin's passing and all my thoughts and prayers are with Stephen and the Chan family.

I went to high school with Justin, but I really got to know him well during our first year of university together in Clarenville back in 1995-96.

He was a very gifted young man, yet so humble and unassuming - I really liked that about him. He was so easy to get along with and he loved to laugh, which is now my fondest memory of him.

I am thankful for that year of close friendship with Justin and for all the laughs we shared (in favor of studying).

A tragic loss of a wonderful person that I was lucky to know. He will surely be missed.

Justin and I went to high school together. He was a very outgoing and friendly individual that could make anyone smile. He was a great person inside and out and excelled at everything he did. My husband attended high school in Clarenville, NL with Justin and they were the best of friends. He was a great friend to both of us right from the beginning of our relationship over 18 years ago. We have fond memories of him visiting us while he was living in Ottawa. Always good for a laugh, the life of the party. We spent countless hours reading Calvin & Hobbs comics! Justin always had a special quality about him so although we were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, we were not surprised at all that he died performing a heroic gesture. We feel blessed to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Justin & Amy, and their families. I met Justin through a friend and was fortunate enough to build my own friendship with him. He was an amazing guy. He let me stay with him for 3 weeks during the Olympics and made my trip even more special and amazing. We had amazing talks and bonded over similar life experiences. I will miss his friendship, smile and laughter. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be a hero forever and never forgotten.
