I met Justin when I was in grade 6; he still stands out as one of the nicest guys I've ever known because of his patience, kindness, and understanding he had with me. Even though I was younger than him, he would go out of his way to talk to me and spend time with me; he really made a lasting impression.

I am profoundly saddened by Justin's passing. He was a good friend of my grown children. I remember he had such empathy...such a lovely soul. It is a tremendous loss for us all. My deepest condolences to his loving family. My thoughts and prayers are with you now. We will always remember Justin.

I can still remember the day I met Justin, we met in Greenwood the summer of 1999 and I was playing in the backyard in the PMQs; I think we were playing with Pokemon cards. Justin and Allen came over without hesitation and I can remember the friendly smiles as if it was yesterday; Justin and his trademark smile and laugh. We hit it off instantly and accumulated years of fond memories. Justin was the kind of friend that you could go a year without seeing and hit it off again as if it was only yesterday. He was never cruel to anybody, very optimistic, supportive, and a great friend. It was a great surprise to begin our University Career's together at Dalhousie, it enabled us to reconnect; I only wish I had more time. I believe Justin and I formed a bond that was suppose to pass the test of time. Justin you were a great friend and you will be forever missed. Words can not describe my sorrow for your loss. My thoughts are with you Cheryl, Michael, Jason, and Allen. I am deeply sorry.

I send my deepest of condolences to Justin's family and loved ones. I went to school with Justin, and worked with him at Tim Horton's - He was such an amazing person with a loving heart. He was always ready to share a laugh and bring a smile to sucky situations. I will always remember the positivity he infected everyone around him with. Although I didn't get to see much of Justin, being that I live a few provinces over I have nothing but great things to say about him every time I had the pleasure of seeing him. I've known Justin since I was fifteen years old. He was a very special person to me. I remember the first time I saw him just as well as the last time I will ever see him.
He once told me they say you never stop loving someone and if you do then the love was never really there. I'll always remember the good times.

I knew Justin for approximately 8 years. During our time as friends, he managed to I still in me a zest for life. He loved being active and hanging out at the skate bowl (back when that was something to be proud of). I will never forget my best friend and I'm so relieved that some of his last hours on this earth were spent with me playing darts and socializing. He was an amazing conversationalist, friend, and will be missed by everyone who has ever had the absolute privilege of meeting him. I love you so much Justin!!

I've been trying to find the right words to say, I'm still in shock of hearing the news. I only knew Justin of our time working together,he was a wonderful young man. To Cheryl,Michael and the rest of the family, my deepest sympathies to you all. My heart breaks with you.

Nothing i can say negative about Justin as he was always that super cool guy with awesome attitude living in the PMQs in Greenwood and that is how he will always be remembered by but will never be forgotten. Lots of sympathy for his family as the loss of of a brother or son is never easy.

I was lucky enough to go to school with Justin for a few years,I keep replaying every conversation we ever had,all the times he made me laugh in class,I miss him and feel bad that we grew apart,he was a beautiful person inside and out,was incredibly selfless,he was the sweetest man i have ever met,he could light up a room by simply walking in.To his family my heart breaks for you,I can't begin to express my sympathy,I will never forget him,and I am happy I got to know him,I can take comfort in that and knowing he wouldn't want me to be sad.Rest in paradise Justin.xo
