Justin was a loving father to his two daughters. In Winnipeg we got to know Justin and Kim. He was so welcoming and friendly and always had a smile on his face. He was a devoted family man who loved his daughters and Kim more than anything in this world. I am heartbroken but feel lucky I met him and will miss his contagious smile and laughter. I pray God gives you and your girls strength and peace.

Justin's energy was contagious, he always lit up the room with his charisma, jokes and his smile. If you were having a bad day, he would do whatever he could to cheer you up, and he was someone you'd look forward to seeing for that reason. He became part of our family when I was a teenager and was someone I always enjoyed spending time with. He loved Hailey and Kendall more than anything else in the world, and that was evident. They were the light of his life and he would've done anything for them. He was an incredible father, friend, and brother. He will be greatly missed.

Justin was one of the funniest and fun loving guy's I have ever met. I will always remember that big smile and infectious laugh. Justin worked hard, played hard, and loved his family hard. You will be missed by many. My heart goes out to Kimmi, Hailey, Kendall, and all those who love you xo

I will always remember Justin's laugh and sense of humour. Whenever he was around laughing was guaranteed. He loved children and was even more in love with his daughters. I will keep my funny and fond memories close to my heart so that I will be able to share them with daughters throughout the years.
You passed way to early Justin and I promise to look out for my friend Kimmy and your precious daughters.
Love,
Jinger

Still, tears stream down my face when I think of Justin being gone from this world. It's just crazy. He was too young and full of life. I have known Justin and Kimmy for a long time now. He loved my dog Romeo. Would run into my house yelling for Romeo. Would take him to the dog park. He loved my family. I think he loved everyone he came across :) He was so helpful and would give his shirt off his back to whoever needed it. He shined like a star when he became a Dad. He was so proud. He was so involved in their lives. He will be missed by many!! RIP Justin

We all met Justin in school. He didnt care who we were, where we came from, or where we were going. He was so nice and caring to everyone. Willing to help anyone out and we would do the same for him. He was always telling us his stories. Making us laugh even when we didnt want to. And the day he came in and said he was going to be a dad, none of us had ever seen him happier. After school we all went our separate ways but we still manage to keep in touch. The saddening news ripped through our little group quickly and although its been years since we have all been together we all felt the same. It was a great pleasure for all of us to have gotten to know Justin for the little time we were allowed. Justin, your new mission is to look over your girls from above and keep them safe, they will know youre watching. Kim, although we never got to meet, we wish you all the strength and love that we know Justin showed you to raise your beautiful little girls. We are so sorry.

I haven't seen Justin since he was a teenager. He was a good kid. He was thoughtful and funny (sometimes on purpose, sometimes not)My heart goes out to his entire family. I wish there were words I could say to ease your pain even a little. I'm sure Justin wouldn't have changed all that much since he was a teenager, and based on that he has never gone far and will be watching over all of his family always. When a door slams for no reason or a light flicks off if you listen really hard you will probably hear him laughing softly in the breeze.

Justin had worked for me just recently right up to his untimely passing. He was a very energetic person and always eager to help as best he could. You had some stories that were very amusing. I didn't know you as long as many others, but you left an immediate impact buddy. My sincere condolences to your family and two young girls.

Justin was always in my office asking for help or telling one of his amazing stories. He proudly dropped by with Kim one day to show off his daughter a couple of times as well. A great guy, hard-working student and proud family man.
You will be missed very much Justin. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kim, the girls and the rest of your family. You will always be remembered as a great student at Durham College, Justin and I'm proud to have known you.
Sincerely,
Paul Wraight, Professor, Durham College

It is with sincere sadness that I find myself writing these words. I was there to see Justin graduate and had many good conversations with him in my office at Durham College. My condolences to all of his family and extended family. I will be out of the country on a planned trip but my thoughts will be with you on Friday.

Dear Daddy.
Words can not even begin to describe the pain that your passing has caused. You were a light in any darkness, the center of any party...but most of all you were Daddy...a title that you were so proud of. May your girls have that same light, smile and all around energy that attracted so many of us to you. You will be remembered as a superhero. It is not fair that you had to go so soon but I truely believe that you are now a guardian angel for our daughters. I promise every day to tell Hailey and Kendall a story about just how amazing their daddy was. We miss you. Xoxo
We love you to the moon and back
Love always Mommy, Hailey, and Kendall.
