Charlie Gili
March 15, 2015
Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Bauer Family know that we recently made a small donation to the "Two Angels Foundation Inc." in honor of Justin L. Bauer US Army Staff Sergeant. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

You should be receiving a quilt from Freedom Quilts real soon if you haven't received it already. It is our way of saying we care and we want to bring you some comfort. Shed your tears on your quilt wrap yourself and let it be arms wrapping you with love and comfort. OUr deepest sympathy for the pain you now carry with you. We thank you for being into this world a hero that stood tall and gave of himself for others. I know a mother would rather have her son in her arms safe instead of burying him and dealing with a pain like no other pain. We are here if you need us if you need to have someone reach out and pray with you for strenght my email my dear is [email protected] my website is www.freedomquilts.net the quilts are for all the parents and spouse that have lost a love one since September 11, 2001 that is when I started this project and that is why I'm still at it. Jason, you were the coolest guy in 2p. You didn't care what other people thought, you did what you had to do and did it to the best of your ability. It was an honor to have served with you. I can say I leared alot from you. Being one of the only chick's to go on missions with you, you made me feel safe because you were the guy that the other ones looked up to. It didn't matter your rank. You were the man.

Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Never Forget The Land Of The Free
Never forget as long as the Star-Spangled Banner
waves over the land of the free and home of the
brave, that our nation will be strong.
The freedom of speech and the pursuit of happiness
are the right of every person that lives in this land.
Every person has the choice to live their life as they see
fit and with the knowledge that they will be forever free.
Our flag of Stars and Stripes, the red, white,
and blue will always say that we will fight
for the right of the Spirit of America.
This spirit starts with each person to hold true
to his or her heart with the belief that the
peace begins with all of America…
Peace is what was, now Peace is what is meant to be.
Peace is the harmony that pulls at each and
every soul and heartstrings.
We need to stand together as brother and
sister alike no matter what the difference.
We each love this land and what it represents.
As we take each step from now on, may we teach the
meaning of peace and may it be our solemn promise.
As long as we have this and, we shall be forever free.
Mike and Chelle McCallum

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to S/Sgt. Justin L. Bauer our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Justin. And to Justin it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while opposing terrorist forces in Iraq. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Justin, you are a brave Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,409 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Justin’s family and loved ones.
