Justin Lee Musick

On June 17, 2016, at 4:41pm, Our Father called His Son, Justin Lee Musick, 34 to be with Him.
Justin Lee Musick, known by his family and friends as "Wheeze", was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 1, 1981. After living a short childhood in Grants, New Mexico, he and his family became residents of Clovis, New Mexico. During adulthood, Justin lived in Lubbock, Texas working for Carpet Tech. He later moved he and his wife to Clovis to be with his family. Justin managed Carpet Tech in Clovis and surrounding areas for 9 years moving over to Southwest Cheese in 2009. He worked there as a Senior Production Manager where he had enjoyed employment for almost seven years. Justin was an active member, not only within his family but also within the local community. He coached CYSA soccer the "Storm" and softball the "Wildcats" and was an active participant as a Father in 4H, raising goats and rabbits, with his children.
Throughout his life Justin brought joy to every person blessed to be in his presence. His ability to start a conversation and his fun loving sense of humor is evident in all the lives he has touched. Every memory of Justin by his family and all his great friends is resonated by his vibrant personality. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Musick; two children, Makenna and Melody Musick; parents, Kevin and Therese Musick; mother-in-law, Edna Mae Massey; two sisters, Jennifer Crowder and Jessica Musick; brothers-in-law, Brian Crowder, Will Massey and wife Suzanne, Joe Massey and wife Amy; uncles, Marty Michael, Alan Michael, Teddy Michael, Chris Michael, and Carl Michael; aunts, Beverly Michael, Rosalyn Michael, Natalie Michael, Bernie Michael, and Stephanie Michael; one nephew, Mayson Crowder; nieces, Madyson Crowder, Harper Massey, Daisy Williams, Maylon Crowder, Teagan Massey, and Molly Massey; cousins, Jimmy Michael, Monica McCarty, William Garza, Allison Michael, Marisa Michael, Carl "Bub" Michael, Makayla Michael, Eric Michael, Blake Michael, Cameron Michael, Jacob Michael, Kaden Michael, Isaiah Michael, and Elijah Michael, as well as numerous family members and great friends.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Frances Michael, and William and Nioma Jean Musick; step-grandmother, Frances Musick; father-in-law, Jasper Massey; and uncle, Kyle Musick.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23 at West 21st Church of Christ, officiated by Ken Cable. Burial will be held at Lawn Haven immediately following services. Serving as pall bearers will be Heath Bennett, Brian Crowder, Eric Denton, Michael England, Brian Essex, Carlton Essex, Chris Wynn, and J.T. Mitchell in spirit. Honorary pall bearers will be Mike Justus, Alan Michael, Carl Michael, Marty Michael, Teddy Michael, Chris Michael and Johnny Ortiz as well as all of his best friends (because the list is too long) and his Southwest Cheese family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 E. Manana, Clovis..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Justin Musick Family c/o Bank of Clovis, 300 N. Main, Clovis, New Mexico. These funds will be used to support youth involved in the 4-H Program.
