I will always remember what a wonderful brother you have always been. Ever since I was little, you always looked after me and protected me. You and Shane together made it a goal to be tough on me, and I will always appreciate that. You are the strongest person I have ever known, all for the love of your family. After nearly 13 years the Shoemaker family is as close to being my family as my own blood. I have been there off and on to witness the kindness, the love, and the fun. I have seen Justin be an uncle, a brother and a son. It was an honor to known someone like him and I take solace in the fact that his struggle and pain are over. He has a place in my memories as well as my heart.

To the Shoemaker family, I love you all very much and am so sorry that you are all hurting.
