JUSTIN A. SULLIVAN

My most sincere condolences to the family of Justin Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was my 12th grade English teacher and by far my favorite teacher throughout all of my Milton years. Not only was he inspiring and dedicated to his profession but he was a kind and gentle man. I will never forget you Mr. Sullivan and may you rest in peace. Maria Gravalese, Class of 1985.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Justin's death. He was a memorable presence at Milton High School, a true gentleman, and well-respected colleague and teacher. He inspired all with his academic knowledge and gift of teaching. I send my condolences to Mary, his daughters and grandchildren. May he rest in peace.

Justin was a wonderful person and the first teacher to welcome me as a colleague to Milton High School (1999). He was a joy to teach with across the hall and loved kids and teaching... In fact he loved everyone. I am so sorry he has passed on.

Mr. Sullivan was an amazing teacher at Milton High School, he had great rapport with me and my classmates. He inspired me to excel and for that I am grateful. I have thought of him often over the years.

You don't remember every teacher you had in life. He is one that is memorable. He influenced the lives of many of us. Teachers make such a difference in the world. Especially the good ones like Mr. Sullivan. Rest in peace. Prayers of strength and peace to the family.

Mr. Sullivan was a huge influence on me...I am a college English professor and I have held his lively, intelligent, joyful, respectful approach to teaching as my model...I can only hope to approach his amazing ability to engage, enthrall and truly inspire my students. A great man...my condolences to his wife and family.

RIP Mr Sullivan. Thank you for showing so many of us that learning could be fun! .

I am so sorry for your loss. Me. Sullivan was one of the best teachers and people I feel lucky enough to have known. He will be missed.

Mr. Sullivan was my home room and senior English teacher. He was truly a great guy, and good friend in those years. He and Mr. Baldwin were my only two teachers that had the foresight to know that Mr. G's tardy passes would be as important as they were. His passing is terrible.

Mr Sullivan was an incredible spirit. That smiling grin was ever present and was contagious.

Whenever I think of high school classes, Mr Sullivan is the teacher I think of. His sense of humor and passion made everything more interesting and fun. RIP you will be missed.

I had Mr. Sullivan for CCD, the class met at his house. Also remember that he taught English at MHS. I graduated in 1997. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and friends.

I have very fond memories of my time spent with Mr. Sullivan. I so enjoyed his creative writing class and his insight into the 1994 class yearbook. Everyone should have a teacher like him. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in this difficult time.

One of my most favorite teachers at Milton High School. He added excitement and humor into every lesson he taught. I'll never forget him telling the class about how he tried to mimic a Rod Steward song by dancing in a parking lot with his kids and ended up on the ground. He always had us laughing with rapt attention. Prayers to his family, he was a lovely man and gifted teacher.

I was lucky enough to work with Justin when I joined the staff at Milton High School as the world's oldest rookie teacher. He was the kindest, gentlest, funniest, most wonderful, colleague I've ever known. I am so honored to have met him. He leaves a long legacy of love.
