My most sincere condolences to the family of Justin Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was my 12th grade English teacher and by far my favorite teacher throughout all of my Milton years. Not only was he inspiring and dedicated to his profession but he was a kind and gentle man. I will never forget you Mr. Sullivan and may you rest in peace. Maria Gravalese, Class of 1985.

Justin was a wonderful person and the first teacher to welcome me as a colleague to Milton High School (1999). He was a joy to teach with across the hall and loved kids and teaching... In fact he loved everyone. I am so sorry he has passed on.

Mr. Sullivan was a huge influence on me...I am a college English professor and I have held his lively, intelligent, joyful, respectful approach to teaching as my model...I can only hope to approach his amazing ability to engage, enthrall and truly inspire my students. Mr. Sullivan was my home room and senior English teacher. He was truly a great guy, and good friend in those years. He and Mr. Baldwin were my only two teachers that had the foresight to know that Mr. G's tardy passes would be as important as they were. His passing is terrible.

One of my most favorite teachers at Milton High School. He added excitement and humor into every lesson he taught. I'll never forget him telling the class about how he tried to mimic a Rod Steward song by dancing in a parking lot with his kids and ended up on the ground. He always had us laughing with rapt attention. Prayers to his family, he was a lovely man and gifted teacher.
