My name is Cesar. My family calls me Alex. I´m 26 now and I went to kindergarten with Kaely in Calusa Elementary. I moved from Miami to Tampa at the age of 6-7. I remember my parents telling me Kaely was my first girlfriend. The only memory I have is us sitting on a skateboard together riding down my driveway in my house in the crossings. We must´ve exchanged yearbook pictures because I had a picture of her in my closet til the beginning of highschool before we moved again. For the past 5 years I wanted to look her up but I never knew her last name so I asked my mom and she didn´t know either. It wasn´t until Hurricane Helene flooded our house, that my mom wanted to salvage some of the photo albums and found one. So sorry for your loss

I still think about this tragedy and Kaely's life being taken far too soon. Sending love and healing to the Camacho family always. 7 years later the loss of this beautiful young lady, whom I never met, still hurts my heart. I remember watching this horrific accident in the news and thinking of her family. 7 years later I'm still thinking of them and sending out prayers that God continues to heal their broken hearts . Though I never had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful girl or her family, I know of this through her cousin Mackenzie who went to school with our son and dated him for a while. I can't imagine life without her for the entire family. I can't believe it has already been 7 years. I hope and pray that you are comforted by the memories and knowing how much she was loved and admired.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sad to say I did not personally know Kaely, and I am writing from the other side of the world. I only came across this horrible tragedy from a tribute that a friend of a friend made on Facebook. I am only a few years older than you and I simply cannot even begin to imagine losing a close friend of mine like that.
