Good Afternoon,
I am truly sorry for the loss of Kaitlin. I worked with Kaitlin in MD from 01/17 to 06/17. We started our positions at the same time (as new members of a small team), sat next to each other, and quickly became good friends. Her warm smile and sense of humor will be dearly missed. My condolences.

Kaitlin, my friend, my college roommate, I am devastated. So many fun times with you in college and after, then we lost touch, but reconnected recently. I would text you, but then you would always call me - I found it funny that you would call rather than just text back, but thank god you did b/c I got to talk to you and hear your voice. I'm so sorry that I'm not there today, but I am thinking about you and your family now and always. Miss you my friend and wishing that I could call you right now.

To all and especially Patrick I want you to know how much you were loved by her. She became very special to me and I will always remember becoming one of the people she chose to be her friend. I will never forget her.

A daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, coworker, friend - with such passion and spirit and the ability to befriend even strangers, just simply taken too soon. With a deep sadness, my heart breaks to say goodbye to my friend and my constant thoughts are with the whole McArdle family. Hoping that with time you may find a small amount of peace and through memories you may find some laughter. Fondly remembering how much she loved to look back through our old Paris photos and the laughs we shared around reenacting this one at Ann's NYC apartment in 2015.

My Dear Friend,
I will miss your laugh, I will miss your sarcasm, I will miss staying up until the early morning hours listening to Third Eye Blind. I will miss skipping out of work early to pick you up in downtown DC traffic on a Friday afternoon. I will miss our inside jokes, and I will miss your advice on all things. This world is already a little colder and a little less bright without you here.

I'm still so in shock. My heart is absolutely broken for the entire McArdle family, especially for her nieces and nephews who lost an absolutely incredible Aunt way too soon. I have many lasting memories of Kaitlin and every single one of them involve her sense of humor and contagious laughter. She was never afraid to say what she was thinking and that's one of the many reasons we loved her. She could break the ice with the best of them and was such a great friend to have by my side the night I first met my wife Katie. We will both miss her dearly and send our sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
