Kamaree Woody

Kamaree Armayne Woody, affectionately known as Kam, was born on November 11, 1998, in New Britain, CT, and passed away on September 30, 2024, in Shade Gap, Pennsylvania, at the age of 25. A cherished daughter, granddaughter, and sister, Kam was a passionate advocate for animal rights. Her dedication to this cause was evident through her work with PETA, her involvement in numerous local and national events, and her own pet sitting business. Kam's fervor for veganism and animal welfare touched many lives, leaving a significant impact on communities across the country.

Kamaree's creativity shone through her love for photography and art, and she was always eager for new adventures. Known for her kindness and empathy, she was a compassionate listener who engaged deeply with others. Her insatiable curiosity and love for exploration drove her to travel and discover new places, always ready for the next journey.

Kamaree is survived by her mother, Jennifer Grieco; father, Charles; and sisters, Audrianna, Kaleesia (Cici), and Kaylanna. Her beloved cat, Spike, and many friends who cherished her vibrant spirit will also remember her fondly. Kamaree was a beacon of light in the lives of many, and her legacy of compassion and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A burial service for Kamaree will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bristol, CT. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
