To the Schmidt family,

We are so sorry about Kara. We took her to school everyday for kindergarten and we got to know what a sweet little girl she was. My son Tony was very close to her. She will be missed and loved. You are in our prayers. May God be with you.

To Kara's family, I offer my deepest condolences. So nearly the same, a year ago, on Febr 19, my totally adorable 12-yr old daughter had a severe seizure that took her to Children's on life-support where she remained until she died on March 9. The year following has been the most painful, horrible year - beyond what I ever could have imagined. I know yours will be as well. A year later, her brother and I have healed a bit, and much of the nearly unbearable pain has turned into a wonderful bundle of happy memories. May God grant you some comfort and much healing.
