Le samedi 18 mars, Karel Asha, de Montréal, est décédée tragiquement à Londres. Personne d'exception, humaniste, diplômée de l'Université Oxford en histoire contemporaine du Moyen-Orient, elle laisse dans le deuil sa jeune sœur, Kaeli, sa mère, Sonia Thibault, son père , Walid Asha.
La famille recevra les condoléances des proches et des amis le samedi 22 avril dès 13h30 et un Hommage en la mémoire de Karel sera célébré à 15h30 au salon funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, H3V1E7.

Saturday, March 18, 2017, Karel Asha, of Montreal, tragically passed away in London, England. An exceptional person, humanist and a MPhil graduate in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from University of Oxford. She leaves to mourn her younger sister Kaeli, her mother, Sonia Thibault, and her father, Walid Asha.
The family will receive condolences from friends and family on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1:30 to 3:30pm followed by a memorial tribute of her life at 3:30pm, at the Centre Funeraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, H3V1E7.

I would like to express my condolences to her parents and her sister. The news shocked me and I was truly saddened to hear about Karel. She was an incredibly intelligent, loyal and sweet girl, and my thoughts are with her family.
