She'll be missed. Hoping to make it to the memorial service but not sure we can. A wonderful person and it was a blessing to know her. Jim and Alisa Middleton

We have many fond memories of being in the Sunday School class at Trinity Bible Church with Karen and Bob. Karen was my walking partner for many years as we lived in the same neighborhood. I still remember her early morning calls "Meet you at the corner" as we walked our three miles each morning. She was a special lady and I know she is missed by Bob, Michael and Charissa and family. Our hope is in Jesus and seeing her again. Our sincere condolences to you.

We met Karen and Bob when my parents bought a cabin in Alpine that was located across the road from their place. From the first day, Karen welcomed us and taught us all we needed to know about the area. Each time we would head north, we would check to see if "The Bakers" were home to say hello and check in. We were always being welcomed like we were family. Though I didn't get to know her well, I regard her as once of the nicest and kind persons I had ever met. Just a lovely person inside and out.
Rest in peace.

As the retired Postmaster of the Alpine Post Office, I can honestly say that Karen was one of the dearest, kindest people that I have ever met and am honored to be able to call her friend. Karen will be deeply missed by all that knew her, and even though hearts are breaking right now with her loss, we all know that she is in a very peaceful place.

Karen was a great friend to me and my family. We met her just prior to her marrying our good friend, Bob. When I look back on our times together before moving to AR I remember nothing but laughter and good times. We were thrilled when you guys came to AR and visited several days a few years ago. Karen was also the epitome of a friend. I know Heaven is celebrating her arrival. Patti & Ken Kimble

Jeanne and I are praying for you all. Our last visit with Karen at Costco some months ago was marked by her joyful spirit and selfless interest in us and our family. What an honor it is to have known her. We have been with you throughout this journey in thoughts and prayers and we continue to hold you all close in our hearts.
