Karen Bashara Obituary
Karen (Beckwith) Bashara passed away peacefully on October 2 in Palm Harbor, Florida. Karen was born in Granville, Massachusetts and attended schools in Westfield. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1971 with honors as the top student in Marketing. Karen was married for 28 years to Tim Bashara and was the proud mother of Amy (Burtnett) and Brian. She has 2 grandchildren from Amy and her husband Karlâ€"Madeline (9) and Luke (5) who were the joys of her life. She loved walks, especially along the Dunedin causeway, as well as photography, painting, writing, and arts and crafts. She was known for her quirky sense of humor, her compassionate spirit and always giving stickers with her cards. She was lovingly known as "Grandma Stickers". Arrangements for Karen are being handled by Curlew Hills in Palm Harbor, Florida. In memory of Karen, the family requests that donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
