Karen always made me laugh. It was always fun to be around her, sharing stories and enjoying her family time was memorable. I always told her she was a hoot. I will miss her laughter.

Karen was my best friend in high school and college and after. Oh the tales we could have told but probably shouldn't! Helped her with Jeremy (nicknamed Dr. Zorba because of his wild blonde hair) as a baby. Many, many wonderful memories! Rest in peace my friend.

My older and only sister, Karen, was my mentor, my guide, my playmate, my friend. She was so happy to have a baby sister, she said it was more fun than having dolls! I looked up to her from birth and we got into some shenanigans. Once we were sitting at our mother“s dresser, playing with her jewelry. She was trying on earrings and necklaces, and I, a toddler, put a rhinestone up my nose! A trip to the emergency room ensued with several sharp instruments being inserted. Painful at the time, but funny story for years. I claimed she told me to do it. She swears she told me not to and that I must have put diamonds in my ears first, since I did the opposite of what she said! I miss you Yah Yah.
