Karen was my first manager at Lilly. She was an awesome mentor during my tenor at Lilly. We kept in touch periodically and was sadden to hear about her passing. She was a kind individual and will be missed. Continued prayers and thoughts with her family and friends.

I am sorry and deeply saddened by the world's tremendous loss of my dear friend and awesome, long-time Eli Lilly colleague, Karen. She will be forever sorely missed by everyone who loved her. Please know each of her loved ones is being held close in thought and prayer during this painfully difficult time. Sending my heartfelt condolences and many hugs.

I was one of the lucky ones to have been one of Karen's friends. We met years ago when she was working as an oncology nurse. I got to witness her compassion and skills with her patients. Sending prayers to Samer, family, and friends.

As a young girl, Karen and her family lived down the street from me. She was younger than me but as she got older she was in Girl Scouts and we became better acquainted. She would often walk to our house to visit. She really like my Mom and my Mom enjoyed her visits. After I graduated high school, I helped with her scout troop. We had a great group of girls and we all have remained friends and over the years have gotten together for visits. Karen always made it fun and we loved hearing her stories. I´m am so grateful just her later years and even through her long illness that she had Samer to share and enjoy life with each other. She will be missed by many but always with sweet fun memories!
