Karen Drap Obituary
Karen loved animals, especially her dog Keisha. In addition to her loving parents, Karen is survived by two brothers, Matthew Drap of Newtown and Dan Drap of Norwalk, and her maternal Grandmother, Helen Radomski, as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, December 14, at St. Philip Church, Norwalk. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Other services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk, CT 06851 or to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111. Joe and Carol, Matt and Dan,
I am so sorry to hear about your sweet little Karen, my heart feels such pain and I am at a total loss in terms of words to express my sadness for your loss. May your memories of Karen's giant smiles and the tune of her happy laugher warm your hearts and help you through -- she was a beautiful girl and her light burns bright in heaven.

I am so sad to hear about Karen's passing. Karen was such a positive person who could make anyone smile, she was like another sister to me through the years. She always had a special aura about her that made those around her feel warm and special. She will be missed by many. I hope you can find peace and strength through this difficult time. Karen-
I remember the time you drove me back to Eastern one Sunday afternoon, me you and Kesiha.
You proceeded to tell me once we were on the highway "I don't drive to well on highways"...
It was a slow ride at 45mph, plenty of horn honks and plenty of fingers, but I felt safe enough to doze off for a bit..
Only to be awaken by an air horn and Keshia sitting in my lap while we drifted across three lanes of traffic doing 45.
You kept clam and said to me
"I have it under control" with the look of terror in your eyes.
The stories are endless...

Dear Carol and Joe, Matt, and Dan, I was shocked to hear from Jane that Karen had died, your baby girl. This is a parent's worst nightmare, and ONLY God's grace can carry you through, which is my prayer for you. I have several good friends who also have lost a young adult child and it has not been easy, but their faith has carried them through the years. WHY??? We will never know on this earth, BUT I know that someday we will all reunite in God's heavenly kingdom. My prayers for God's strength and comfort are with you all during this time.
