Karen Ann Dunton of Lompoc died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the age of 58.

Karen was born December 1, 1955, in Fremont, California to William and Jewell Crowley. She graduated from Mission San Jose High School in 1973.

Formerly of Colorado Karen has been a resident of Lompoc since 2008. She regularly attended a Bible study that meets in the clubhouse in Senior Circle. She had the heart of a helper and enjoyed people, swimming and riding her scooter in the neighborhood with her father and chihuahua.

She is survived by her father, her sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Roger Copass of Lompoc, her brother Bill Crowley of Freemont, her niece Patricia, her nephews Daniel, Jacob, Cole and Jesse, and her grandnephews Daniel and Alec. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2008.

The celebration of Karen's life will be on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 1 pm in the clubhouse of Senior Circle in Vandenberg Village.

My sister, I miss you so very much. There was so many things I wanted to do with you. We just never could find the right time. But when we see each other again, we will do lots of things together. I have wanted to pick up the phone so many times just to say hi, and then remember. I miss you so much, Karen, my sister.
