Dear Cammarata Family:

I am totally devastated to hear of the passing of my dear, longtime friend Karen. She and I first became friends in middle school, and as time went on ever after our high school graduation, we remained very close in our immediate group of friends. I will always remember her as a sweet, soft spoken, loving person who I had so much fun with no matter what we were doing. We vacationed to London, Daytona Beach, Wildwood and Atlantic City, NJ and attended so many concerts, nightclubs, shopping and frequent trips to the hair salon where she worked! Our group of close tied friends were always together and there for each other no matter what. When Karen got married and moved away from NJ, we unfortunately lost touch for quite some time. However, in 2017 after her mom passed away, we reunited with Lisa Agabiti for a wonderful lunch in New Hope, PA. It was like we never lost touch. Since that time, I have kept in contact periodically with Karen and mailed her cards and sent text messages on special occasions. I know she was living alone and at times wished that we all lived closer together (I relocated to Florida 4 years ago from NJ). As I think of the deep sadness of her passing, I am blessed to have had so many years of fond memories with her which brings a smile to my face. Unfortunately, we are not aware of the cause of Karen's passing (if she was ill) but hope that she is at peace with her parents and we now have another special angel from above to watch over us all. God Bless her and the entire family.

Karen and I went to high school together and remained friends well into our twenties. We had so many great times in the "80s", especially hanging out in New Hope, going to New York, spending weekends at the shore, just countless fun!
Over the years I lost touch with Karen, however, I will always remember her beautiful smile, fun personality and so many treasured memories of our friendship.
Heaven gained a beautiful soul!
My sincere condolences to the Cammarata family.

Karen and I went to high school and Votech beauty school together. I´ll never forget when the teacher talked her into a perm and it came out way way too curly. After high school we went on my first plane ride to Daytona Beach. There were so many trips to New York City ,Atlantic City,South Street, Wildwood ,Seaside and of course going to see our favorite bands .When she was in Baltimore we visited and had dinner at the inner harbor. On her last trip to New Jersey, we lunched in New Hope. Thank you Karen !for so many wonderful times together !You will be so missed !!!but I will see you again, my friend!! love you!!Lisa Agabiti (Csercsevits)
