LANG Karen Charlotte (nee Fox) October 27th, 1950 - November 6th, 2007 Much cherished Wife, Mother, Nana, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend, taken from us with unexpected suddenness on the 6th of November. K.C. was predeceased by her father William, brother Mark, much beloved aunts Edith, Patricia, and Flo, uncles Kenneth, Stuart, Albert, Douglas and Gordon and Edward Westbury, father of her two loving sons. Survived by her adoring husband Gordon Lang, her sons James and Richard Westbury, grandchildren Chelsea, Megan and Devin Westbury, her mother Phyllis Fox, siblings Steve (Laureen), Jackie, Michael (Tracy), Kelli and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will also be missed by her countless friends here and at her weekend home in Birch Bay. Karen was a member and Past Royal Matron of Dogwood Court #3, Order of the Amaranth. Deepest thanks to the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital, both in Emergency and ICU, for their gentle and professional care of Karen and her family in a difficult time. A celebration of Karen's life will take place on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby B.C. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B.C. Epilepsy Society, #510 999 West Broadway, Vancouver B.C. V5Z 1K5 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, #310 1385 West 8th Ave, Vancouver B.C. V6H 3V9, Attention: Order of the Amaranth.
