In memory of

Karen Kay Lechner

Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

August 25, 2011

Dear Scott and Sean. I was Karen's college roommate at San Diego State during our senior year. I have so many wonderful memories of the good times we had and the laughs we shared. I remember how positive she always was and how joyful she was as she and Ron fell in love. She taught me how to organize a household to run efficiently for which I have always been grateful. She made the world a better place. She will be missed. May God comfort you. Rest in Peace

I am sorry to hear that Karen has passed. I am a cousin, haven't been around the Barth family that much, since I am in North Carolina. May it comfort you that she is in God's hands and eternal rest. In God's Love, Jerry

Dear Sean and Scott,
We visited your Mom 2 weeks before she passed away. We spent the afternoon reminiscing with lots of laughter, the fun, joy and challenges of raising our sons. We have had the pleasure of your parents' friendship since you both were little guys. We are so glad we could share so many wonderful memories with Karen. We will always admire her spirit and love of life. Our love and sympathy to you and the family.

Dear Scott & Sean, I am your Mom's cousin from Indiana. During our childhood and teen years, we saw each other every 3 years. I will always remember and cherish those memories. For the past several years, we have used email and kept up on each others lives. I will dearly miss her. She was a very special person to me. Thanks, Scott, for the telephone call. Also thanks to Jim for his calls during the last few days. Love to all of you! LaVerne

Dear Scott and Family

I had the pleasure of getting to know both Karen and Ron while assisting them in the purchase of several properties here in Port Townsend. We instantly connected on a personal level. My husband, Bob and I visited them when they lived by the bay in Santa Cruz. Karen's spirit and attitude radiated even through the passing of Ron. Her outlook on life always positive. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. We missed each other the last time she was here and I so regret that now. What a wonderful lady. I am the lucky one to have had the opportunity to known her.

I was one of several chemotherapy nurses who had the honor to help Karen (and Ron) a few years back. Karen's smile warmed any room and her upbeat spirit was an inspiration to many. May many fond memories comfort you at this difficult time. My thought are with you, Kendra Pugmire RN, OCN.

Dear Sean and Scott. You don't know me but I treated both Ron and Karen being their chiropractor. Your mom had me over for a very memorable lunch where I meet her two doggies. Now in retrospect I appreciate that day so much more. I will not be able to join the memorial day so I wanted you to know that we loved your parents and they were well taken care or emotionally and physically. Much regrets, from Dr. Charles Goodwin and the staff of Dakota Health Center
