Karen McDaniel (Stewart), born on October 22, 1959, in Clearfield, PA, passed away on November 27, 2024. Karen was a devoted mother and cherished her time with her children, always prioritizing their well-being. Her most treasured role in life was being a mother.

Karen is survived by her son, Tyler (Caitlin) Miller of Springboro, OH; her daughter, Kimberly (Joe) Laxson of Highland, IL; and her beloved grandchildren, Nolan, Evelyn, Emmett, and Harvey. She is also survived by her sisters, Judi (John) Perdue of Lake Placid, FL, and Barbara (Bill) Quigley of Vandalia, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Stewart and Betty Stewart (Burr).

Karen's life was enriched by her profound love for her children and grandchildren. Her passion for horses and her affection for animals brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's memory to SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center at www.sicsa.org.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Karen and I lived close by growing up. She was always such a sweet and kind person. Prays for your family. May you rest in peace.
