Karen Burkett Morrow

When I was a young tyke Kay used to take care of me when we stayed at our grandma Overstreets (ma-maw) at 409 Court St. in Hattiesburg. She would take us walking around showing me the sights of old Hattiesburg. We last saw her and Don at the old Holt cemetery where one of Don's favorite jazz musicians (Buddy Bolden) was buried. That was 2009 and we visited them in Tampa where Kay showed us an alligator swimming behind her house. Kay was my wife's favorite relative. Don is an excellent photographer, and they were widely traveled after retirement.

So sorry for your loss. Our prayers are definitely with your family.

Karen was a fun and interesting walking partner. She, Letricia, and I walked many Saturday mornings for years. We had lots of laughs. She will be missed. Don, sorry for your loss.

My dear Aunt Kay was a remarkable bigger than life type of person with an infectious laugh. I loved to be in her presence. I´ll miss her. Don, Kevin and Jana I´m so sorry for our loss. Love you all.
