Fritz Vaval

Fritz Vaval, 92 of Linden, departed this life on January 17, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral mass in St. Joseph the Carpenter R.C. Church in Roselle, on Saturday January 24th at 11am. Cremation is private. Fritz was born in Petit-Goave Haiti on July 4, 1922 to the late Vincent Vaval and Anna Desvarieux-Vaval, and came to the United States in 1982, settling in Elizabeth, NJ, Linden since 1994. Fritz, also known by the loving nickname Frico, was an avid futbol player and fan. While living in Petit-Goave he coached the town futbol team Palmeras. He was also the President of the soccer league. In his youth, he also played and was a great goalie.

Fritz leaves to cherish his beautiful memories by his beloved wife of 45 years Ermithe (Montilus) Vaval; his loving children, Frederick Vaval and his wife Warda, Yves-Andre Vaval and his wife Rose, Judette(Jeanine) Vaval-Borsuk and her husband Christopher, Jacques Vaval, Frantz (Franco) Vaval and his wife Shakeria, Serge Vaval and Claudette Darius; his sister Jeanine Eugene; 11 cherished grandchildren, Francine Vaval, Randy Vaval, Kayla Vaval, Sarah Vaval, Donovan Vaval, Kai Borsuk, Milo Borsuk, Zailey Vaval, Jaden Vaval, Mason Vaval, and Sammi Vaval; a host of nephews, nieces, friends and relatives. His devoted friends and caregiver during his last days.
