She is survived by the love of her life, Dwain, beloved daughter Jacquieline, son-in-law Christopher and her cherished grandchildren, Bronwynn, Ethane & Avalon.
As per Karen's wishes her body was donated to a Science, so that she might be able to help others.
In lieu of flowers, donations to UBC- Anatomical Sciences Research Endowment @ 2350 Health Sciences Mall, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z3, are appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held August 15, 2014, in Surrey, BC.
