I was just thinking of those ridiculous edits of old time comic book pages, substituting in new dialogue, that Reggie used to make. Maybe that particular craft was a minor and absurd contribution to the world, but it definitely left its mark and brought joy to many. The world was better for having Reggie in it.

Hey Reggie, someone asked me yoday why you weren't on the podcast anymore and I didn't know what to say. I miss trying to make you laugh when you were trying to be serious and how much you listen to my ridiculous ideas. Actually, I just miss you in general.

Betty, I was thinking about Adem and I found this. I am devastated for you. No mom, especially one as amazing as you deserves to bury both her sons.

When Lizzy brought Karl home for visits, I was fortunate, for we were both early risers. I would come down to find Karl in his chair reading. I cherish that time for, in a family of extroverts, it wasnt always easy to get the stage. Karl could have center stage to share his interests, joys, passions, friendships, music, travel stories and plans, sorrowsand his deep love for our Lizzy. A mother could not have dreamed up someone who would make her daughter as happy as he made her. I shall miss him forever.

I miss you, buddy! My prayers are with Lizzy and your parents, but I know you are watching over them so they will be all right. I keep expecting to wake up and see a message from you about Logan's Run or some other nonsense. The world is a little less bright without you around.

So happy that Karl/Reggie brought all the love and joy to the world that he did, especially to my beloved Lizzy. And so sad that his time here was way too short. Deepest condolences to Lizzy and Karl and their families and friends. So far, 2020 sucks.

Deep in character, influence and voice, Karl was special to a whole lot of people. I'm thankful his recordings are out there in the world so I can hear him and remember what a talented human being he was for the rest of my years. He will be missed dearly.

He was such a good hearted soul and I can't believe I live in a world without him. It's really unfair. I still have the comics he gave my 11yo on my desk next to my computer. The last time I spoke to him, he was cracking up about a work story I told him. I can still hear him bellowing. Any conversations with him involved laughter and wise advice. I miss my friend

Reggie was one of the funniest people I ever knew. Life around him was just more entertaining, more informative and a lot more fun. I will think of him every time I see a subway train car, some cool graffitti or an old school hip hop song. He is dearly missed and will not be forgotten.

'Reggie' was an extrordinary person. He was talented in so many areas: podcasting, history, music, and many more. He knew a lot of facts about a lot of things, but he also was curious about what those facts meant and how they fit into a broader narrative. His work on the Cosmic Treadmill was top notch and their series on the Comics Code is the best podcasting I have ever heard. He always supported my work and that of many others. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person twice and he is a man I will never ever forget. Condolences to his family, I know he will be missed dearly.
