Karl J. GRAHEK

We are so sad to lose our friend Karl, and share the loss with his family, friends and community, to whom he was always happy to give. He shared his joy in living with everyone he met, and the world is less without him.

Wow! how special The Lord brought Karl into our lives. He not only was a great Geneologist, but what an awesome person,a joy to be around. So glad our paths crossed! We sure enjoyed our special times together. We are so disappointed we were unable to attend the funeral. God's Blessings to You and Yours.

Dear Mary Lou,

Ruth and I are sending prayers and love to you and the kids and their kids. Karl always has had a zen quality, so composed when life got nasty or chaotic. And he died the same way, Decisive and aware but not overawed by the difficulties he faced. I am grateful that we reconnected in June before he too sick. It was a privilege to be part of his dying.

To Mary Lou my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. Karl will be missed by many and that includes me! He brought a smile to my face every time he came into the salon!Love and Prayers.

To "My Favorite Uncle"...I will miss you terribly. So will Matt. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family. Uncle Karl's "Favorite Niece" Suzi and her hubby, Matt.

Mary Lou, Tio, Aunt Cin, Cousins and Grahek Family Friends - we love you guys. It's hard not to be there with you. We are so, so blessed to have you as family. Mrs. Grahek, Julie, Jean, Laura, Karl -I am so sad to learn of the passing of Mr. Grahek (Karl Sr.). I will always remember the Grahek family intermeshed with the Burch kids first at J.J. Hill, then Ramsey and finally Central H.S. with Mr and Mrs Grahek enthusiastically involved (along with my parents) in every aspect of our delightful childhoods. Sending my love and best thoughts to you all as you go through this difficult period. Your husband/dad was a wonderful man and I know his beautiful, bright spirit lives on through his children and grands. ((Hugs))

My condolences to the whole family. Not only did Karl, with the help of Mary Lou, raise a wonderful family, but they also made friends and neighbors feel like part of the family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

I write this with tears streaming down my face. So many wonderful memories of happy times with Karl and MaryLou and the entire family. So much laughter, kindness and gratitude. What an amazing man. I loved him so. I am traveling and am sad I can't be there. But Jim will be. My love to all you wonderful Graheks. You took my family and me under your wings when we first moved here in 1985, and I'm so deeply grateful to you. So many fabulous meals, good times and friendship emanated from your home. Karl made me laugh and smile. What an inspiration. Grace.........dignity and alot of style. I cant imagine what he's up to right now but i'm sure he is doing it with a smile on his face.
