Karl, I've finally found you, I was a little girl when you and Ms wendy would have me over, and my brother as well. I'm 39 now and have been looking for you for years, I want to say thank you for EVERYTHING! I didn't forget you. As I read through the memories left by family and friends I see you never changed still a gentle soul who was always giving and doing for anyone in need. Yes I was a little girl, very small, but I always wondered what happened to my other family that I only had faint memories of. I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you, but THANK YOU again...
P.s. I remember the huge Gumby you and Ms wendy got me and also Boomer...love Toodie....

Here's dad's most cherished truck, that he customized with the help of dear friends and ace auto body men, Charlie and Doug Strahl. It started life as a 1979 Chevy shortwheel based Silverado with an old 292 in line six. In 1986, when noone had ever seen a full size crew cab with a short bed, this unique creature was born. It ended up with Lincoln Continental power seats up front, a 400 small blck bored to 406, and a rear end from a P series bread van out back. He made a custom two piece drive shaft for it too. There was nothing it couldn't pull or haul. It was just like it's owner, one of a kind.

I'll never forget this day, when he bought me a go kart. The kill switch broke, and at 7 years old, i had no concept of using brakes! Hilarity and panic ensued as I yelled for dad to help me stop the kart as I steered it toward the lake. I kept it on the trail tha looped around grandad's house, and finally dad caught up with me and saved the day. So funny.
