Thank you Karl for all the beauty you so generously shared with your music. "Goodbye Jumbo" was one of the best albums I ever got to listen to and I keep doing so up to this day, 35 years later...

I just learned You're A Hurricane on guitar. I love that song so much. My first show was the at Santa Monica Civic center when Private Revolution first came out. They did Little Wing. I've been to probably 50 plus shows since. I never travel on a plane without my GOODBYE JUMBO, and I will cherish the signed ARKEOLOGY CD BOX SET he personally autographed for me at The City Winery many years ago. I always said I would love to DREAM the way Karl Wallinger dreams. Beautiful music from a wonderfully talented man, beautiful soul. Thank God he left us such wonderful music that will probably be rediscovered when we're all gone. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

I was 13 when the album "Bang" came out and it changed my life. Something in the music drove me to become a firefighter and follow in my father`s footsteps!!! I listen to this album at least four times a day. I will never forget Karl and he Will live on through my heart and others who loved him.

Glasgow 1990- singing 'put the message in a box' with Karl and the band. Throwing Karl my t shirt as a towel. So many important issues in these powerful songs. 'Ship of Fools' saw me through some hard times. My favourite albums always. His smile so warm and kind. He would be my leader and I would follow him forever if he had gone into politics.
Heartbroken for his beautiful wife and kids. What a loss. Forever in my heart xx
