I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Randy, but when I read his obituary I wanted to share this beautiful scriptural thought with his loved ones. It's Romans 1:20 And it reads, "For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable". It sounds like Randy enjoyed the amazing beauty and complexity that is found in creation. It takes someone with insight to have such a deep love the natural world around us.

I write to send you my absolute condolences in regards to Karl.
Over years and years, I wondered what happened to so many of my childhood friends. Karl was always one of those people. Today, I was watching a golf match and the name Carl Weber hit the screen. Unfortunately, I Googled the name I was so familiar with for so long and read the news. I always remembered his birthday (6/6) for some crazy reason. I hear he enjoyed outdoors and camping. This Tuesday, I will celebrate his life while camping myself.
We attended St. Bede's together and spent summers hanging out, usually on Inverness Dr. I recall going down to the pool house and playing Bumper Pool along with all the other imaginative ideas we came up with on that incredible piece of property.
I, again, send my sympathies to his siblings and entire family. Cynthia and Paul may remember me.
My name is Mike English. I spent those great days in Linda Vista living on Madia Street, one block down from Inverness Dr. across Linda Vista Ave.
Today I live in Denver, CO.
I do have a question. Who were the Verheyens? A real familiar name from back in the day, but I can't place it.
Once more, I'm so sorry.
Mike...
