Karl Whittington Obituary
Karl Whittington, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2017. Karl graduated college and shortly after joined the Air Force, where he served for 3 years, before being discharged with honors.
Karl was employed with the Dept. of Revenue for over 35 years as a computer analyst which he thoroughly enjoyed. His greatest accomplishments were his integrity and having a family.
He is survived by his wife Denise Wood-Whittington, two sons; Dan Whittington (Karen) and Mike Whittington (Karlene) one stepdaughter, Kimberly Wood, and grandchildren; Kaiden, Mikayla, Halei, Cameron and Kadence, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Bevis Funeral Home, 2710 N. Monroe St. at 11:00am with a service to follow at 12:00pm. Burial will take place June 27, 2017, at 1:00pm at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.

Karl was a wonderful neighbor. We will miss his friendly, gentle and kind presence. He loved Halloween and Christmas. We enjoyed his beautiful indoor and outdoor decorations. He especially loved his beautiful family, and he loved puppies.
Peace , joy, and love to Denise, Kimberly, Cameron, and Cadence.

Karl was a dedicated gentleman both to family and employer. He left many footprints as he touched the lives of many, mine being one of those. My condolences and prayers of peace and comport to the family and friends Karl left behind.
