Kaseem "Ka" Ryan

Kaseem "Ka" Ryan was a prolific Brooklyn-based rapper whose lyrically rich albums earned him accolades, and who was also known for his two-decade career as an FDNY firefighter, where he rose to captain. He was greatly admired by his fellow artists and all those who knew him. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Kaseem "Ka" Ryan. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

Kaseem was a NYC basketball player that played well and was humble. He appreciated and cheered his contemporaries who advanced further than he did. I knew him as a good guy before he made it obvious to everyone. Broke my heart to read he died.
