I was so sorry to hear the passing of "Kit" Bie. I had such a nice visit with Kit at the memorial service for "Cappy" which was another very sad day for the Bie family. Please know that all the Bie family, near and far, are in my thoughts and prayers today and always.

Sweet Kit was a friend of my parents, Jim & Connie, and I was flattered to be asked to lunch with "The Clique" a few times. I'm here with Mom at St Joe's and she's devastated that she can't be there to hug Norm and honor Kit so we're doing it from here while Dad attends without us. Connie says she always tried to sit next to Kit on their outtings as she was so interesting and funny. Our hearts go out to all her beloved family & friends. She'll be missed by all the Muias and many more.

Kit, you were my friend, my Gator girlfriend, my cheerleader, my teacher! You showed me how to wear hats! (One time we each wore our ORANGE HATS to the UF game, of course.) Most of all, you helped teach me how to live life and to share my life with others....sometimes I didn't want to hear your message because I knew that you were right! You were a substitute mama for me; I thank you for that. And I thank your family for allowing you to be a part of my life! GO GATORS! I have fond memories of football parties at the Boathouse and at PineTree Lane. You will be sorely missed! Love and blessings, Tricia ❤

My sincere condolences to Norman and his family. I wish I had known Kit better. She was certainly beloved by many others.

Norman Bie III have not been in touch with you in years, so sorry for your loss, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers

From Aunt Kit's God Child , I have happy memories of the 60's and 70's- at the Boathouse, swimming in the gulf, playing cards, boating on the Uncle John- the whole family watching fireworks on the deck on 4th of July, the Buccaneer Inn, going to the Snoop Shop to paint, riding horses, going to Disney in '74 before the restaurants opened then going to Spook Hill and dining at Chalet Suzanne. Well, Ms. "Kit" Bie was another one of my Mom's when growing up here. People who have moved here from everyother place on earth don't understand the word "local." The Bie family IS local. Momma Kit was from Tampa, the Bearman, probably mispelled, but correctly pronounced "local" Tampa family from years of history back. Again, people not really from here don't understand the amount of history which goes back to these local families.
I am so glad i saw Momma Kit just a week ago when one of her nephew & family was visiting the beach. We all had a gathering of local family friends for a long breakfast & coffee, just chatting of old times. We talk "local" not of other places. We don't even talk about weather as we just live it, take it the way it comes, hot & cold, rain, whatever goes. Momma Kit always had a great laugh, and so much fun to grow up about. We all had great laughs, lots of boating, swimming in the waters, fishing adventures, and just living the good life here. Again, it was so great to have a visit with Momma Kit just a week or so ago. I did visit with them along the way on the beach too, fairly often, just everyone wanting to know how everyone else was doing...!! Everyone's doing fine. But time does take it's toll, and we are looking at this generations departure into other worlds. Thanks for your guidances of fun, honesty, looking at life with open eyes, realities of where we live and are. Thanks for being there as a friend, family person, and close, very long term person in my life and others. Blessings to the next adventure..!! Momma Kit will surely go go go..!!! Fun Beings..!!!
