I came across some pictures of when Kate and I went to Bear Mountain. Seeing these pictures reminded me of all the wonderful times we shared... Bear Mountain, Shelter Island, Michigan, Mystic and so much more. When I saw you a few months ago I had no idea that that would be the last time. I thank God for the day you came into my life and I will always cherish the times we had.

Dear Ms Fitzgerald,
And Robin
I Can not tell you how sorry I am to hear about Kate's passing. The shock of it is just well so surprising as everyone was im sure. Robin I know you will remember me if I explain that I use to live in Boston and that I came to New York a few times to visit and even went Camping with you and Kate and a a couple of your friends from work. You and Kate also came to my apartment in Boston when you went to Boston for a few days and we went to the museum of science to a lasar show and also to go whale watching together with my family. Except for the fact that you got sea sick we had a great time that weekend. I have been friends with Kate for a very long time and I will miss her very very much. My heart is so saddened. I would like very much if you Robin would please keep intouch with me though if possible. I would like for you to email me and I will then give you my phone number and address so that we could keep intouch ok. I Just want all of you to know you have my greatest sympathy.

Mrs. Fitzgerald,
I do not know if you remember me but you opened your home to Marianne and myself while we were attending training for work. I wanted to let you know I was sorry to hear of your loss. I only met Katie once but I could see she was a wonderful woman. Her and Robyn opened their home to me as if I were a long lost friend and the evening is one I will treasure. She was truely a gift from god and will be missed by all she touched. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Deanne Paltridge

Katie was full of love, light and boundless optimism. She had a cheeky sense of humor and loved her family deeply. She was a very special person who always made me smile.
I'm going to miss my little cousin so much. There is a big hole in my heart now.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend Kate. She and her partner helped me through some difficult times and I will be forever grateful for their love and support. I am still in shock that she is gone, but I am left with all the wonderful memories that she gave me over the course of our friendship. She will remain in my heart forever and always. I will love you always as the older sister I never had.
Your friend,
Christina

Katey will be dearly missed at Mary of Nazareth School.
She was a pleasure to work with and made my students smile with joy every time she worked them. May she rest in peace and bask in His love.
