Katherine Noon Grantham April 20, 1914 - January 8, 2009 Katherine was born on the family ranch near Arivaca, Arizona to Arthur and Martha Noon. She died at the location of her birth. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Robert E. Grantham and her daughter, Katy. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanie DeVore (Jim) and her son, Robert A. Grantham; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous Noon and Grantham nephews and nieces. Katherine and her husband lived in Nogales, Arizona after they were married and then in Douglas, Arizona before retiring to the family ranch in Arivaca in 1980. Memorial donations can be made to the Arivaca Clinic at PO Box 233, Arivaca, AZ 85601.

Katherine, Katy, Robert, and Fred were all patients in our dental office. We always enjoyed visiting with them. What a lovely day we spent with them many years ago on the ranch.

Although our visits were rare Dottie was always kind, with such a sweet, shy smile. She always made you feel happy you got to see her at any family function. It is sad to know she is gone. Our sympathy to all of you.

Jeanie, I hope you remember me. Your mom and dad and you & Kay were the best of friends with me, my sister Barb and my mom& dad, Tom & Mary Ann Sundheimer on
12th street in Douglas. I named one of my daughters Sharla KAY after your mom& Kay. I wore your formals to Douglas "balls". Dot gave me great advice when I was having my first child in 1976. I remember the Whitman sampler candy we always exchanged with Kay. iI still do that for my 3 daughters and granddaughter at Christmas.Dot has always been an angel in my life and I know she is with Bob and Kay and watching over her family as usual.
