KATHERINE HOPKINS Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; brothers, Thomas, Nicholas, and Christ; and sister, Ida.
Katie is survived by her children, Patrick Hopkins and wife Joann, Kathleen Hopkins Alsina, Mark Hopkins, and Elizabeth Martin; her husband Craig; and sister Angeline Mannheim. She is the much-loved grandmother of Thomas and James Hopkins, Katherina Alsina and husband Alan Guevara, Rachel (Martin) and husband David Lewis, Ryan and wife Kaylan Martin, Russell and Roslind Martin, and Megan Hopkins. She is the great-grandmother of Kira Sofia Guevara, Everest James Martin, and Derrick Mark Hopkins.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Warren Chapel, St. Dominic Village, 2409 Holcombe Blvd., with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., also at Warren Chapel at St. Dominic Village.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr., Houston, Texas 77081 or to St. Dominic Village.
Arrangements under the direction of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, Houston, TX.

Dear Mom, I'm lighting this candle for you because you where the one who was my "light " when I was a child. You taught me about the love of The Lord Jesus. You showed me unconditional LOVE and made me feel special. You were always kind and sweet and had a positive outlook on our life. You taught me so much about being a good , loving and devoted wife and mother. You loved my husband like one of your own, you loved our four children and you were the best Gramma to each one of them. You were there for every birth, every birthday party and every family event you where able to be at! My love for you is so deep and wide in my heart and soul that I cannot begin to discribe it in words. I'm so thankful to our God that he gave me the opportunity to be your primary care giver and that I took this amazing gift to spent my days and nights with you, in my home. I'm truely blessed to have had the Lord give me this time with you. You always told me that I was an answer to your prayers but God answered my prayer that I had after we moved to Georgia , many years ago, to be able to spent more time with you. He answered my prayer and gave me the gift of time with you! Praise you my Lord Jesus! Ilove you my precious Mom and I will always treasure my memories with you!! I will never stop missing you but I'm also so happy you are now heathy and whole and living in peace in paradise with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! ❤
