Katherine Kucharski Obituary

LOWELL - Katherine F. (Nicpon) Kucharski, 89, a Lowell resident who was a stitcher for many years in the local shoe mills, died Wednesday morning, May 7, at the Town and Country Nursing Center in Lowell. She was wife of Stanley Kucharski, who died on June 17, 1983.

She was born in Lowell on June 10, 1913, a daughter of the late Martin and Magda (Pocalun) Nicpon. She attended local schools.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a French cord stitcher in the local shoe mills for 25 years.

Mrs. Kucharski was a communicant of the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell and a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens organization. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Smith Baker Center and window shopping in downtown Lowell.

She leaves her cousins and close friends, Stella Pymowicz, Shirley Tareila and Ruthie Heroux, all of Lowell, Evelyn Mazmanian of Chelmsford, and attorney Richard Howe and his family, residing in Lowell.
