Dear Dean,
We just found out from John and Marilyn about the passing of Kathy and would like to express our condolences. We remember Kathy from our times camping at Canyon Creek Rocky Mountain House with the group, golfing together and fellowshipping around the fire in the evenings. Kathy was a very giving person and fun to sit and talk with. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was saddened to learn of Kathy’s passing and the illness that she faced over the past year. Kathy and I worked in the same department at TransCanada in the early 1990s and I will always remember her for being a sweet, sensitive and good-natured person with a passion for playing and teaching piano. My sincere condolences to her husband Dean and to her family and friends at this difficult time.

Dean - I am deeply sorry for your loss. It seems like only a short while ago that Kathy and I were working together at Alliance. What I remember most are Kathy's kindness, her ready smile and quiet passion for the things that were important to her.

My dear friend, Kathy and I first met at TransCanada and instantly knew our friendship would be a special one, given our shared values and belief in God. Kathy had the sweetest face and beautiful eyes that drew you to her. She was a true inspiration to me and to so many people along the way, given her compassion and willingness to help others, and in the way she handled her terrible illness. I know her spirit will live on in Dean and her family members and in each of the people she has touched. I know we will meet again in heaven one day, and what a day of celebration that will be. My deepest condolences go out to Dean and to both families who loved her so much.

Our hearts goes out to you, Dean and to your family, as well as to Kathy's parents, Jacob and Agnes Fehr and their family.

Kathy was a truly remarkable woman and will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of meeting her through her wonderful sister, Sandra. We must take comfort in the fact that she is with many of our loves ones and truly is in a better place- no more pain or suffering.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Dear Dean,
Words cannot express my sadness at Kathy"s passing. I worked with her at Alliance Pipeline and again at Encana. She was truly a "one of a kind". I always admired her strong faith in the Lord and her committment to Him. I am certain that he now has one more Orchid for his garden.

Kathy, my sweet and gentle friend, was familiar with difficult times. I'm so glad we met at work through a lunch and learn she hosted about her work in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Following that, we met for coffee often and at times, cried together through difficult times. Having spoken with her many times about our shared love for Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, it gives me peace that she is now free of cares and illness in HIS loving arms forever.

Dean, I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Kathy's passing. I certainly enjoyed getting to know Kathy and to learn about her many interests when we worked together at Alliance Pipeline. I will certainly remember her as a friendly and thoughtful person who was devoted to her extended family and who had a passion for her church, travels to Israel, music, and her Christmas villages. I will especially remember her genuine interest in people and her sympathetic ear. I am very thankful to have known her. I hope these words will be of some comfort to you in the time ahead. Please accept Brian’s and my sincerest sympathies.

Dear Dean, No one can begin to know exactly how you feel, except to know that sorrow such as yours is deep and real. But if you need some comfort and some help to see you through, just know how much you're cared for by all those who think of you. Sincerely, with love, Auntie Thelma and Uncle Stan
