Katherine Tesno Obituary
August 24, 2023. She is survived by her parents, James and Susan Armour Tesno; her sister, Theresa Tesno and her dog, Rex. Katherine was a 2003 graduate of Celina High School and graduated from Sinclair College. Katherine was the Operations Project Manager for Dermatologists of Central States. Katherine was integral to and coauthored a significant peer reviewed medical study published in the prestigeous medical journal JAMA. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, August 28 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton, OH; 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday August 29 and 9:00 until 10:00 am Wednesday at
the N.J. Hogenkamp Sons Funeral Home, 715 E. Main St., Coldwater,
OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:30 am at Our
Lady of Guadalupe Church, 6701 OH-219, Montezuma, OH. Burial to
follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery. The family would welcome flowers or donations may be made to the Mariel Bloch Memorial Fund with Fidelity Charitable (Reference Account #1111065) to honor Mariel Bloch, Kat's niece, who also died of cancer at an early age. All funds are used to support childhood cancer research, which is currently vastly underfunded. Those seeking to make a donation should mail their check to Fidelity Charitable (with the fund name in the memo line) with a completed donation form located at the following web address: https://fidelitycharitable.org/docs/Contribution.pdf or using envelopes available at the funeral homes.

We were so very sorry to hear about Katherine's passing. She did the design and build out for Dr. Conroy's clinic last year at one of our healthcare sites. She collaborated with our Madison Health team (myself and a few others) during the process. She was very kind, funny, professional and an absolute delight to work with. Her smile was infectious and she lit up the room. She made a positive impression on all of us, even in the few months we had the honor of working with her. On behalf of our Madison Health team, we are sending our deepest sympathies and many prayers during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Katherine for almost 5 years at DOCS. She truly helped build the company into the enterprise it is today. If you needed to know anything about the lab or company Katherine was your go-to. I’ll truly miss our chats, occasional glass of wine, sharing our pet stories and most of all her ready smile that lit up the room when she walked in. Fly high Katherine, you earned those wings ♥

Katherine and I worked together for well over a decade. She and I shared many wonderful times and memories. There is so much to remember about KitKat, as I called her.
